[Pre-registration Adj.]
Overview
Adjust the amount of paper loop for pre-registered rollers such as paper feed trays.
Adjust if there is a paper jam in the register part or if paper curls or wrinkles has occurred.
Tips
[Pre-registration Adj.] is added to the adjustment values in [Paper Setting] - [Change Set] - [Expert Adj.] on [MACHINE] screen as shown below. However, the adjustment range of [Tray1] to [Tray9] and [Bypass] is 0 to +149, and that of other items is -99 to +99. Check the adjustment values in [Paper Setting] - [Change Set] - [Expert Adj.] on [MACHINE] screen if the adjustment is not successful.
- The adjustment values of [Tray1] to [Tray9] or of [Bypass] are added to the adjustment values for [Pre-regist. Loop Adj.(Front)] for each paper feed tray.
- The adjustment values of [1st PFU Connecting Part] and [2nd PFU Connecting Part] are added to the adjustment values for each of [Pre-regist.Loop:1st Connection] and [Pre-regist.Loop:2nd Connection].

Procedure

Press the key for the item to be adjusted.

Press [Print Mode].

Set A3 w or 11 e 17 w paper to the paper feed tray you want to adjust and then select that paper feed tray.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A chart is output.
For details about the "
" mark that is printed on the front side of the chart, refer to About Charts.

Check for paper curls or wrinkles.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad or the Keypad of the Control panel to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].
The adjustment ranges are as follows.
