[Fold Paper Width Adj.]
Overview
Adjust the pitch of the alignment plate for folding on the saddle stitcher to reduce misalignment and distortion in the paper stack during folding.
Make this adjustment when misalignment occurs on the paper stack for [Fold&Staple], [Multi Half], or [Multi 3-Fold].
Tips
- If a numeric value is entered in [Offset for All Size], it is applied to all the paper sizes. If a numeric value is entered for a specific paper size, the setting value becomes the sum of the entered value of the specific paper size and the entered value of [Offset for All Size].

Procedure

Press the selection key of the paper size to adjust.

Press [Print Mode].

Load the paper of the size to be adjusted into any tray, and select that paper tray.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A sample is output.

Check for misalignment in the paper stack.
a: If the setting value of the paper width is wider than the actual paper width, misalignment in the paper stack becomes uneven.
b: If the setting value of the paper width is narrower than the actual paper width, misalignment in the paper stack is in one direction (distortion).

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

Repeat step 2 to step 7 until the desired result is obtained.
