What Is Quick Security Setting?
If this system is connected to the network, it may be attacked from the outside in the same way as other network devices.
[Quick Security Setting] allows you to configure the settings that ensure a certain level of security even if you do not have specialized knowledge of security.
Setting item | Function |

[Quick IP Filtering] | Prevents access by malicious third parties by permitting access only from devices in the same network segment as this system. |
[Administrator Password] | Allows you to change the default administrator password to enhance the administrator privileges. |
[Password Rules Setting] | Provides stricter password rules than usual and enables only the passwords that conform to those rules. |
[WebUtilities Setting] | Obviates attacks from the outside by closing the port when Web Utilities and Web Connection are not used. |

Tips
- This setting is only applied to NIC of this system.
- To ensure security of this system, we recommend that you turn on the administrator authentication function. For details, contact your service representative.
- When the administrator authentication function is set to ON, you need to enter the administrator password when setting [Quick Security Setting].
- If stronger security is desired, we recommend that you use [Enhanced Security Mode]. For details, contact your service representative.
Tips
A warning that prompts the user to enhance the administrator password setting is displayed when
- the system is turned on;
- the system is recovered from the Power Save mode; or
- the system is waiting for a password to be entered outside the time range specified for the Weekly Timer.
