[Home Read Position Adj(Back)]
Overview
Adjust the home position of the shading shaft of the ADF.
This function maintains scanning accuracy by improving image failures that occur due to contamination on the back side shading shaft.

Procedure

Press [Print Mode].

Load the desired paper into any paper tray, and select that paper tray.

Load the paper of the same paper size as the paper loaded in step 2 into the ADF, and press Start on the Control panel.
A sample is output.

Check whether an image failure occurs.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].
[Adj. Range:-4~+4 1step = 1]

Repeat step 1 to step 6 until the desired result is obtained.
