[Cover Up/Down CD Width Adj.]

Adjust the alignment width of the top side of the cover.

Make this adjustment when there is a problem with the cover position when performing perfect binding using Perfect Binder PB-503.

Load covers into the Perfect binder cover tray or any paper tray.

When using any paper tray, you need to set a cover tray by selecting [Perfect Bind] of [Output Setting]. For details, refer to [Cover Tray].

Load body paper into any paper tray.

Select [Perfect Binder Tray], or select [Except PB Tray] if you selected any paper tray in step 1.

Press [Print Mode].

Select the tray in which body paper was loaded in step 2.

Press Start on the Control panel.

A perfect binding sample is output.

Check that no misalignment, protrusion, or distortion occurs between the body and covers.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.

Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

[-] To reduce the distortion [+] To reduce the misalignment

[Adj. Range:-20~+20 1step = 0.1mm]

Repeat step 4 to step 9 until the desired result is obtained.
