[CD-Mag. Adjustment]
Overview
Adjust the magnification in the crosswise direction when scanning the original using the Original glass.
Using this function allows you to vary the magnification of an image and adjust so that the image is correctly magnified.
NOTICE
- The following setting is required to use this function.
- Perform [CD-Mag. Adjustment] in [Printer Adjustment].

Procedure

Press [Print Mode].

Load A3 w paper or 11 e 17 w paper into the paper tray to be adjusted, and select that paper tray.

Place a test chart on the Original glass, and press Start on the Control panel.
A test chart is copied.

Measure the width in the crosswise direction, and compare the measured value with the chart.
Standard value: 0% ^ 0.5% or less (full size)
Example: Within 200 mm ^ 1 mm

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad or the Keypad of the Control panel to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

Repeat step 1 to step 7 until the desired result is obtained.
