[PB Cover Crease Position]
Overview
Adjust the crease position of the perfect binding cover in Creaser Unit CR-101 mounted on Saddle Stitcher SD-513.
The crease position of the perfect binding cover is controlled so that the reference position is set to suit the width of the spine width of perfect binding. Make this adjustment when the distance from the paper edge to the crease position deviates from the standard value at both the 1st crease position and the 2nd crease position.
Tips
- If a numeric value is entered in [Offset for All Size], it is applied to all the paper sizes. If a numeric value is entered for a specific paper size, the setting value becomes the sum of the entered value of the specific paper size and the entered value of [Offset for All Size].

Procedure

Press the selection key of the paper size to adjust.

Press [Print Mode].

Load the paper of the size to be adjusted into any tray, and select that paper tray.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A sample is output.

Check the misalignment between the folding line of the output paper and the crease part.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Select [Crease Line 1].

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].
[Adj. Range:-20~+20 1step = 0.1mm]
Adjust the length from the paper edge on the left of the top face of the perfect binding cover to the 1st crease position.

Select [Crease Line 2].

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

Adjust the length from the paper edge on the left of the top face of the perfect binding cover to the 2nd crease position.

Repeat step 2 to step 10 until the desired result is obtained.
