[Screen1]
Overview
Select the screen type to be used on [Screen1]. Select either Dot screen or Line screen on [Screen1].
If you return to the [MACHINE] screen after setting, [Gamma Automatic Adj.] is performed. Perform [Highlight Adjustment] when finished.
Tips
- A Dot or Line screen is a common printing style that changes density and expresses gradation by changing the size of a line or dot in a regular line. The higher the number of output lines, the finer the reproduction.

[Line200] | Draws image with a collection of fine lines. Granularity can be reduced compared to dot screens with the same number of lines. Appropriate for office documents including graphs. | ||
[Line180] | Draws images using collection of lines. Excellent color stability against deviation across versions and pattern/design. Granularity can be reduced compared to dot screens with the same number of lines. Suitable for office documents including photographs. | ||
[Line150] | Draws images using collection of lines. Produces excellent color stability. Appropriate for poster and black-and-white printing. | ||
