[Main Scan Dir. Zoom(Back)]

Adjust the magnification in the main scanning direction (crosswise direction) of the back side when using the ADF.

Scanning accuracy is maintained by making regular adjustments.

Setting items		[Current Data]	Displays the current magnification in the main scanning direction when scanning the original on the ADF.
		Keypad	Used to enter numeric values.
		[Clear]	Returns the entered numeric value to "0".
		[Set]	Sets the numeric value entered using the keypad to the selected setting item.

Press [Print Mode].

Load A4 paper into any paper tray, and select that paper tray.

Place a test chart in the ADF tray, and press Start on the Control panel.

The test chart is scanned and a sample is printed out.

Load the test chart with the back side facing upward.

Measure the width in the crosswise direction, and compare the measured value with the chart.

Standard value: 0 mm ^ 1.4 mm

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.

Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

[Adj. Range:-10~+10 1step = 0.1%]

Repeat step 1 to step 6 until the desired result is obtained.
