[Flattening a Fold (Strength)]
Overview
Adjust the strength when forming a booklet spine.
Make this adjustment when there is a problem with the form of the spine.
Tips
- In this adjustment, set the reference value of the spine forming strength specified on the [COPY] screen or in the printer driver. If the strength specified on the [COPY] screen or in the printer driver is insufficient, you can specify a stronger strength in this adjustment, but be careful that the reference value shifts completely.

Procedure

Press [Print Mode].

Load A3 w or 11 e 17 w paper into any paper tray, and select that paper tray.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A sample is output.

Check the spine of the output booklet.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].
[Adj. Range:-20~+20 1step = 0.1mm]

Repeat step 1 to step 6 until the desired result is obtained.
