[HDD Encryption Setting]
Overview
Configure settings for encrypting jobs stored on the HDD of th system.
Encrypt all jobs on the HDD to protect data and prevent information leaks. Select [ON] to set a password. The password can be specified using 8 to 32 single-byte characters.
NOTICE
- The following setting is required to use this function.
- Ensure that the jobs such as hold jobs or HDD store jobs are not stored in the HDD.

Procedure

Using [HDD Encryption Function], select [ON].

Press [Current Password].

Enter current password.
Default: 12345678

Press [OK].

Press [New Password] and enter a new password.

Press [OK].

Press [Input Confirmation] and re-enter the new password.
