[PI Registration Adjustment]

Adjust the loop amount of the registration roller section in the staple finisher when feeding paper from the PostInserter PI-502.

Perform this adjustment when problems such as bending or wrinkling of the paper, or paper jams occur.

Setting items		[PI Upper Tray]	Adjusts the loop amount of the upper tray.
		[PI Lower Tray]	Adjusts the loop amount of the lower tray.
		Keypad	Used to enter numeric values.
		[Clear]	Returns the entered numeric value to "0".
		[Set]	Sets the numeric value entered using the keypad to the selected setting item.

Select [PI Upper Tray] or [PI Lower Tray].

Load paper into the paper tray selected in step 1.

Output a chart to the Main tray.

[PI Upper Tray]: Exit the [Adjustment] menu once, and follow the normal printing procedure to output a job that is fed from the Upper tray.

[PI Lower Tray]: Select any output mode on the Control panel of PostInserter PI-502, and press Start/Stop button.

Check for bending or wrinkling of the paper, or paper jams.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.

Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

[Adj. Range:-5~+5 1step = 1mm]

Repeat step 2 to step 6 until the desired result is obtained.
