[FD-Mag. Adjustment(Back)]

Adjust the magnification in the paper feed direction of the back side when using the ADF.

Scanning accuracy is maintained by making regular adjustments.

Setting items		[Current Data]	Displays the current magnification in the paper feed direction when scanning the original on the ADF.
		Keypad	Used to enter numeric values.
		[Clear]	Returns the entered numeric value to "0".
		[Set]	Sets the numeric value entered using the keypad to the selected setting item.

Press [Print Mode].

[Simplex/Duplex] is selected automatically, so do not change this setting.

Load A4 paper into the Paper tray, and select that tray.

Place a test chart on the ADF, and press Start on the Control panel.

A sample is output.

Load the test chart with the back side facing upward.

Measure the length in the paper feed direction, and compare the measured value with the chart.

Standard value: 0 mm ^ 1.0 mm

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.

Use [+]/[-] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

[Adj. Range:-20~+20 1step = 0.1%]

Repeat step 1 to step 6 until the desired result is obtained.
