Cleaning the Saddle Stitcher SD-513
Overview
Clean the Saddle Stitcher SD-513 - Conveyance belt.
If the Conveyance belt is dirty, the output paper can become dirty.
It is recommended that you clean the tray before each use. Be sure to quickly clean the Conveyance belt if it becomes dirty during use.
Procedure

Open the Clamp section upper door.
You cannot open the Clamp section upper door while the saddle stitcher is idling. Make sure to come out of the idling state before opening it.

Apply some cleaning alcohol to a soft cloth and wipe clean the visible sections of the two Conveyance belt.

Move the Conveyance belt and clean Conveyance belt entirety.
Gently lift both of the Conveyance belt with your hands and, at the same time, pull them to the left so that you reveal the sections which haven't been cleaned yet.
Apply some cleaning alcohol to a soft cloth and wipe clean the Conveyance belt.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 around three times to ensure that the entire circumference of the belt is clean.
NOTICE
- Do not pull out the Conveyance belt while the saddle stitcher is idling. Forcibly pulling them out can result in mechanical failures. When pulling out the conveyance belts, open the Clamp section upper door only after the saddle stitcher has come out of its idling state.
NOTICE
- Do not lift the Conveyance belt more than is required. Be sure to pull out the two belts at the same time. Pulling out just one of the belts can lead to mechanical failure.

Clean the bottom surface of the Conveyance belt.
Apply some cleaning alcohol to a soft cloth and wipe clean the entire bottom surface.

Close the Clamp section upper door.
