Replacing the Toner bottle
Overview
When replacing the Toner bottle, check the toner type number displayed on the front surface of the toner bottle replenishing mouth and use a Toner bottle with the same number. Using a different Toner bottle can result in malfunction.
Reuse the cover supplied with the new Toner bottle. Attach it to the used Toner bottle, and put it in the packing box. For details about what to do next, contact your service representative.

Do not leave receptacles containing toner (toner cartridge, developing unit, waste toner bottles, etc.) within reach of children or infants. Licking or otherwise ingesting the toner can result in health issues. |  |
Do not store receptacles containing toner (toner cartridge, developing unit, waste toner bottles, etc.) near items that are magnetically sensitive including precision equipment and storage devices. Doing so may negatively impact the functionality of these products. | |
Do not unnecessarily open receptacles containing toner (toner cartridge, developing unit, waste toner bottles, etc.). If any toner leaks out, exercise as much care as possible not to inhale the toner or have any toner come into direct contact with your skin. | |
If any toner gets on your clothing or hands, wash it off using soap and water. |  |
If you inhale or get any toner in your mouth, move to a location with plenty of fresh air and gargle/rinse your mouth out with lots of water. Consult with your doctor if you develop any symptoms such as a cough. | |
If any toner gets in your eye, rinse immediately with running water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Consult with your doctor if irritation persists. | |
If you swallow any toner, rinse your mouth out thoroughly and drink one or two cups of water. Consult with your doctor if required. | |

- You can count the number of times the Toner bottle has been replaced. For details, contact your service representative.
Procedure

Press the key for the toner you want to replace in [Consumable and Scrap Indicators] ([Toner Y], [Toner M], [Toner C] or [Toner K]).

Press [,] or [+] to display the procedure and then perform the operation accordingly.
NOTICE
- When attaching the Toner bottle, push in Toner bottle until it clicks into place. If the Toner bottle is not completely attached, it may cause a failure.
