Overview

This section describes the basic operating procedure for scanning.

NOTICE
  • The scan function is available on a product equipped with a scanner and HDD.
  • Paper Feeder Unit PF-713 and Upgrade Kit UK-112 are required to use the scan function on this system.
Tips
  • The operation procedure described here is very basic. This is not the same for all the scanning conditions that have been set. Follow relevant operation procedure.

Procedure

Select the scan function you want to use on the [SCAN] screen.

Select the destination address where the scanned data will be sent and press [Scan Settings].

Configure scan conditions.

Position the original.

Press Start on the Control panel.

The scanning will begin and the scan data will be sent.

Bookmark

If you click or tap in the upper-right of a page, it turns into and is registered as a bookmark.

Filter by option

Filter by title

Filter by category

All of the functions in this user's guide are classified according to the category.
By selecting the check box for the desired category, you can narrow the search range.
Multiple choices are possible.

Filter by location

You can search according to the operation location or application.
Multiple choices are possible.

Filter by option

You can search according to the available functions or specifications of the installed options.
Select the check box for the desired option from the list of installed options.
Multiple choices are possible.

Filter by title

You can narrow the search range from the menu for this user's guide.
However, you cannot search using only the "Filter by title" option. When using this option, also select another search filter item.
