Storing Paper

Overview

Take note of the following things when storing paper.
  • Store paper at cool and dark place with low humidity.
  • If the paper gets damp, it can cause paper jam. Wrap excess paper that cannot fit into the paper feed tray with wrapping paper. Put the papers taken out of the wrapping paper in a plastic bag and keep those in a low-humidity cold and dark place.
  • Store the paper horizontally on a flat surface. The paper will curl if placed vertically and cause paper jam.
  • Keep out of reach of infants and children.
