Description of the PS Plug-in Driver

This is the recommended driver that has the high print quality and fulfilling functions.

This is a dedicated printer driver that supports the functions provided by the system. It allows you to obtain not only mounting options, but also information about trays and paper, authentication information and information on color conversion. Acquiring information about the system allows you to achieve highly detailed prints that make full use of the performance capabilities available.

Although it can be used for printing from general applications, it is especially recommended to use when printing from Adobe applications that support PostScript.

Tips
  • To use the printer driver, turn Image Controller IC-610 on in advance. For details about how to turn the power on or off, refer to Turning the Image Controller On.
