What Is the [Air Assist]?
Overview
The air blow function blows air to the paper loaded in a paper tray and smoothens paper feeding. The air volume can be adjusted either automatically or manually.
Tips
- The [Paper Separation] setting varies depending on the optional devices mounted on this system.
When Paper Jams Frequently Occur
Depending on the paper type, smooth feeding may be difficult, and it may cause a paper jam.
Using the [Air Assist] function clears paper jams, enabling smooth printing.
To clear paper jams, configure the following [Air Assist] setting.
With Paper Feeder Unit PF-712/Paper Feeder Unit PF-713 mounted
