[JAM in the Fusing Unit]
Overview
Configure the setting to reduce paper jams that occur in the fusing unit.
This function is effective for paper jams that are wound around the upper or lower roller when printing.
Tips
- For the upper roller, make adjustments in order from [Up-RollerJAM Reduction+1]. For the lower roller, make adjustments in order from [Lw-RollerJAM Reduction+1].
- The higher the "+" value in the setting item is, the fewer times paper jams will occur. However, a loss amount may increase on the image printed at the lead edge of paper, or a low toner fixability or a fluctuation in color taste reproducibility may occur.
