What Is the [Multi Half]?
Fold the paper in half.
This function, which makes a center spread form, is useful to create a document with facing pages.
Combining with the [Booklet] function allows you to create a spread book.
The following functions can also be added depending on the optional devices mounted on this system.
- Crease: [Crease]
- Fore-edge Trimming: [Trimming or Non Trimming Setting] or [(1)Fore-edge Trimming]
- 2-Side Slitting: [(2)2-Side Slitting]
Tips
- [Print Side] of [Multi Half] cannot be changed when [Booklet] is set. Therefore, even when [Booklet] is enabled at the same time in [Fold & Staple Auto Selection], [Print Side] cannot be changed. For details about [Fold & Staple Auto Selection], refer to [Fold & Staple Auto Selection].
- To arrange in page order in [Multi Half], combine with the [Booklet] function. For details about [Booklet], refer to [Booklet].
- [Multi Half] is frequently combined with [Booklet], so the setting may be configured in combination so that [Booklet] of [Application] is enabled. In this case, even if [Multi Half] is set to [Function OFF], [Booklet] remains enabled. When canceling the setting, also check the setting of [Booklet] of [Application].
- The combined setting between [Multi Half] and [Booklet] can be changed in [Fold & Staple Auto Selection]. For details, refer to [Fold & Staple Auto Selection].
