[Combine]

Select multiple jobs from the job list of [Hold Job], and combine them as a single job.

The combine method can also be selected.

NOTICE

If [Output Setting] or [Application Setting] is not provided for the top one of the combined jobs, the settings of all jobs are canceled.

Tips

This item is displayed on a product equipped with a scanner and HDD. For details, refer to What Is the [Hold Job]?.

Tips

Only [Hold Job] is targeted for Combine.
Jobs on the HDD are combined after they are recalled as hold jobs. For details, refer to [Output Method].
If the setting of the source hold job is changed, the changed contents are not applied to the combined hold job.
Up to 499 jobs can be combined.
Up to 10,000 pages can be stored in a single job.

Setting items		[Image Only]	Inherits only the image of the selected job in order to combine jobs.
		[Image + Paper]	Inherits the image and paper profile of the selected job in order to combine jobs.
		[Image+Paper+Output]	Inherits the image, paper profile, and post-processing setting of the selected job to combine jobs.
		[Chapters]	[ON]	Divides the combined job into chapters.
			[OFF]	Does not divide the combined job into chapters.

Press [Multi-Sel.], and select a job to combine from the job list of [Hold Job].

Press [Up] or [Down] to sort jobs in the combination order.

Press [Combine].

The combination method selection screen is displayed.

Select a combination method.

The operation after combination varies as shown below depending on the combination method and the setting of the head job.

	[Image+Paper+Output]	Punch	The setting of the head job is applied to all the combined jobs.
		Multi-Fold (Fold & Staple, Multi Half Fold, Multi Tri-Fold)	The settings of all jobs are canceled.
		Z-Fold	The setting of each job is held.
		Staple	The setting of each job is held.
[Application Setting]	[Image Only] [Image + Paper] [Image+Paper+Output]	Combine / Image Repeat / Booklet / Adhesive Binding / Image Centering / Binding Margin / Stamp	The setting of the head job is applied to all the combined jobs.
[Application Setting]	[Image Only] [Image + Paper] [Image+Paper+Output]	Others	The settings of all jobs are canceled.

Press [OK].

The selected jobs are combined as a new job.

The file name of the head job is used for the file name of the combined jobs.
