Enter a numeric value for the horizontal width of the automatic inspection area.

[Height]

Enter a numeric value for the vertical width of the automatic inspection area.

[Vertical]

Enter a numeric value for the horizontal position of the automatic inspection area.

[Horizontal]

Enter a numeric value for the vertical position of the automatic inspection area.

Select Area No.

Select the numbers of the multiply specified [Barcode Area] or [Serial No. (0-9) Area]. No.1 to No.30 are selectable.

This item is displayed when [Barcode Area] or [Serial No. (0-9) Area] is selected in [Select Area Type].

Select Direction

[Upward]

Select the direction of the bar code or number to read.

This item is displayed when [Barcode Area] or [Serial No. (0-9) Area] is selected in [Select Area Type].

VDP area match(1st/2nd)

[VDP area match(1st/2nd) OFF]

Selecting [VDP area match(1st/2nd) ON] automatically checks whether the same bar code is output to the front and back pages, or whether the serial number was correctly changed.

This item is displayed when the same area No. is set in [Back Page] and [Front Page].

Select Bar Code Type

Select the type of the bar code to read.

This item is displayed when [Barcode Area] is selected in [Select Area Type].

The read bar code must satisfy the following conditions.

Narrow bar width: 0.3 mm or more

Cell size: 0.35 mm or more

Background color: White

There must be a margin of at least 5 mm around text.

Deletes the specified automatic inspection area.

[Enter]

Applies the automatic inspection area as specified.

To change a setting, press [Delete], and configure a new setting.

Sets an area in all the target pages.

This item is displayed when [Inspection Excluding Area] is selected in [Select Area Type].

Remarks

When [Barcode Area] or [Serial No. (0-9) Area] is selected in [Select Area Type], the decoding result is created as a CSV file. For details, refer to [List of Report].
