Setting items

[Inspection Excluding Area]

Sets an area that is not subject to automatic inspection.

[Barcode Area]

Sets an area targeted for bar code inspection.

This function reads and decodes the bar code in the target area. You can also check whether the numeric value changes sequentially. For details on the types of corresponding bar codes, refer to "Select Bar Code Type" on [Select Area].

[Serial No. (0-9) Area]

Sets an area targeted for serial number (number) inspection.

This function reads and decodes the number in the target area. You can also check whether the numeric value changes sequentially. The read number must satisfy the following conditions.

Font type: Gothic / Arial

Font size: 8 points or more

Background color: White

Number of characters: 20

There must be a margin of at least 5 mm around text.

Remarks

[Barcode Area] and [Serial No. (0-9) Area] are optional functions. They are not displayed by default. To use this setting, please contact your service representative.

If a space between numbers in the target area is narrow when a number is read using [Serial No. (0-9) Area], a recognition error may occur.
