[Convert paper profiles between models]
Overview
Register paper profile data of another model in this system via a browser.
NOTICE
- The following settings are required to use this function.
- Establish network communications between the machine and computer in [TCP/IP Setting] of this system.
- Set [WebUtilities Setting] of this system to [ON].
- Set [Enhanced Security Mode] of this system to [Enhanced Security Mode].
- Set [Remote Panel Setting] of this system to [Enable].
NOTICE
- The authentication operation is always required to display the [Machine Manager Setting] screen. Pressing [Machine Manager Setting] displays the password entry screen. Enter "admin" in User Name, and the 8-character administrator password in Password.
Tips
- For details about other registrable models, contact your service representative.
- A paper profile can be exported from [User Setting] or Web Utilities. For details about the operation procedure, refer to [USB Flash Drive] - [Export] or [Setting data Import/Export].

Procedure

Click [Browse...], and select the paper profile you want to register in this system, from the paper profiles saved in the computer.

Click [Import...].
The selected paper profile is registered in this system.
